Its happening might be because of an earlier version already installed on the PC.
So at first you need to take that off and then put the fukll version onto your computer

1>Click on START
2>In start search type APPWIZ.CPL and hit enter.
3>It would open the programs and features window
4>Locate the trail version of MS OFFICE HOME AND STUDENT which is generally shipped by HP.
5>Right click on the trail copy and click on Uninstall.
6>Once its done, restart the system and then try installing the Ms Office from the Cd that you have.

If then also it does not work and the normal cd/dvds are working then the cd that you got from Microsoft is corrupted and contact them so that they can provide you a functional copy,

Hope this works.

Plz rate if helpful..

Regards
KEN

You probably have the "autorun" off.
Click on "My computer", then on the CD and open it. If it doesn't start automatically, look for a file named "install" or "autorun" and double-click on it

Preinstalled Office home and Student 2007 backup copy

When you purchased your computer, the vendor-supplied "System Restore" set of CD-ROMs were used to install both the Windows operating system and a selected set of additional software, which includes that version of Microsoft Office. So, those disks are your backup.

Thus, taking a different set of Microsoft Office CD-ROMs, such as one purchased from a retail outlet, and trying to use the listed product-key with that "retail" set of CD-ROM disks is *NOT* allowed by Microsoft, as you have discovered.

I am trying to download a free trial copy of M.S office 2007

This is not my work. I simply complied the work of others for your convenience.

Note, this Second Edition DOES NOT make any changes to Office 2007 (see below).  This is a full version of Microsoft Office 2007 (US English Only) packed into a CD image (.uif) containing:  * Microsoft Office  Enterprise 2007 -  Access 2007 -  Excel 2007 -  Groove 2007 -  InfoPath 2007 -  OneNote 2007 -  Outlook 2007 -  PowerPoint 2007 -  Publisher 2007 -  Word 2007 ^  Microsoft Office Visio Professional 2007 ^  Microsoft Office Project 2007 ^  Microsoft Expression Web (new FrontPage) *  The "Make Office Genuine" Registry Entities only works for Office Enterprise. ^ You will not be able to do Genuine Updates from Office Update if Viso, Project, or Frontpage are installed. The serials are written in by the launcher application, if there are problems they're also in the readme file inside the CD image. All the products don't need activation, therefore you do not need a keygen, this is not a trial, it lasts forever. Windows Update does work with this Microsoft Office 2007, but if you want to do "Genuine Office Updates," you need to use the Registry Pack for Office 2007 to make Office truly genuine. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows XP SP2 or later (Vista compatible) (64-bit compatible with limitations) Processor: 500Mhz RAM: 256MB Disk Space: ~2GB Install Notes: Please burn file with MagicISO or Mount as a CD with MagiDisk For support with Microsoft Office 2007 visit http://office.microsoft.com/ Second Edition: *Launcher updated v1.2 - Increased chances of serials being inserted by launcher - Version number in launcher *Launcher.ahk changed to Launcher.txt for easier opening. *Registration Entities added -Allows you to make your copy of Office 2007 Enterprise genuine, so you can do official Office updates from Windows/Office Update. -Please read the Informational Readme file under MAKE OFFICE GENUINE for more info. NOTE: This is a compilation of the registry pack and the torrent Microsoft_Office_2007_Complete_Version. This is not my work. I simply complied the work of others for your convenience.

MS Office 2007

Hi,

First uninstall the MS Office 2007 on your system, then go to the target folder directory where you just installed the Office2007, its usually under PROGRAM FILES folder, and locate the right folder (usually named as "Microsoft Office") and DELETE manually this folder.

Second, restart your computer, then try to re-install the Office 2007 again.

I hope this procedure works.

Can't copy onto CD-R

hmmm.copy or send to? sometimes those CD-R's work best as a backup, or a copy and paste option..

vista and 2007 should be fine, but I'd check on the office site to ensure you're up to date.

Product cd key ms office std edition 2003

If you have a bootleg copy of the software, there is nothing that can be done for you.
You must not have the program installed on other computers.
You must purchase an original Microsoft CD.
No temporary product key is required for the trial period, unless that has changed in Office 2007.
Did you purchase a new computer with office 2007 installed already?

Having problem installing office 2007 on Microsoft office Vista

Hi Noglao, I have experienced similar problem with my Office 2007 installation, I believe its a problem with the CD itself, there might be a scratch or something that is blocking this file from being read. Maybe even a manufacture error since I had the exact same problem with the same file. In the end I had to copy the disk to my hard drive and I moved it to a share folder on my file server. I mapped this share folder to a root(z:) on my workstation. I ran it from there and it worked just fine. If you don't have a server or can't map a folder for some reason I suggest trying another installation CD, or copy the files to your computer, burn a new CD and try it again with that CD. Good luck Daniel
