Question about Maytag Neptune MAH5500B Front Load Washer
Posted by Anonymous on
So Maytag master Floyd Kolb changed the dampers. They do just go bad. They go bad when the machine is allowed to vibrate continuously. Prevention is better than cure. The machine must be set up level. otherwise it will vibrate badly. Slide the machine away from where it stands, and mark where each foot will be positioned. The using a long spirit level ( mine is 36 inches) find out which of the positions is highest.. Screw in that foot fully. Then measuring carefully ascertain the difference in level of the other positions. Adjust the feet accordingly and move the machine back in place. Verify that the machine now stands level and does not rock or wobble on a bad floor. If the floor is bad - FIX THE FLOOR OR CHOSE A PLACE WHER THE FLOOR IS FIRM.
