Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed SAMSUNG monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

There are 4 bad capacitors involved. It may not seem bulging but one or two are leaking. These are the 4 capacitors.
    2 pcs. 470 microfarads - 25v
    1 pc 1000 microfarads - 25v
    1 pc 1000 microfarads - 10v

    I replaced them all.

Next is to clean the board at the back. I got 91% alcohol and toothbrush and scrub. Concetrate on the 8-pin IC which has colored yellowish paste. Scrub or use a Q-tips buds soak with alcohol and clean it.

Next resolder all 4 trasformers. Two on the primary and 2 from the inverter side. Also resolder the 2 transistor/mosfet (3 legs) which is attached to the metal (heat sink).

After resoldering, again clean with alcohol by scrubbing or Q-tip buds for sensitive part.

Mine is working fine now. Good luck

You may have problem in the power supply due to bad caps (leaking or bulging top), bad inverter circuits (shorted transistors, bad inverter transformers), bad lamps (bad solder connection on the lamps), poor solder joints on the board. The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

Do you have the input turned on that you use the xbox for? Try different inputs as well. If you are getting the menu to come up, the blue screen is telling you that you don't have a signal being run through that particular input.

When I press the power button it will jut flash blue like you can see on the video it won't come on at all

Check your cables first. Then check what video input it is on. Sometimes the tv is set for a different input. The other thing is if this all fails try a different outlet and then lastly check to see if the power cable has any cuts in it. If the light stays on the tv the whole time then it is not the power cable.

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.
