Question about HP Pavilion dv4000 Notebook
I want to rebuild my hp Pavilion dv4000 laptop but i dont have any of the disks. How do i go about this? i would really like to use a usb if that is possible.

Hello, my name is Israel and I will try to help you. You may be lucky and won't need them. HP has been kind enough to put them in the harddrive. First you will need to be sure you have saved any files that you want. If you need to you may have to try to start it in safe mode. Using F8 at start up will get you into safe mode. If your computer cannot start in safe mode and you just want to redo the whole thing, then at start up press F11. This will get to the restore program and follow the directions. Good Luck.
