If your monitor shows a yellow light and it won't turn green, the problem most likely lies with the computer. If your computer is not sending a signal to the monitor, then you have a computer problem. One way to test this is to turn the monitor off and the computer off, too. Turn the monitor on and if it is working, it should display a message telling you that there is no signal. If you see that message, you can assume the monitor is working. If you do see it, now turn on the computer and see if the message changes. If you turn the monitor on and you get no message, you can assume the problem lies with the monitor itself. If you have access to another monitor, hook that one up to test the computer output.
You can now either get the monitor fixed or the computer fixed, depending on which one is bad.
Your monitor is fine, the problem lies with your computer. Your monitor is not receiving the POST signal from your computer. I suggest you remove your computers graphics card and plug your monitor cable into onboard graphics, then power up and see if the monitor gets a signal. If it does then it means that your graphics card has stopped working. If you still don't get signal then I suggest you take your PC to your local computer shop and get a qualified technition to have a look at it just in case the motherboard is damaged. You can also try out your monitor on another system just to be sure.
"no signal" means that the monitor is not receiving a video signal from your computer or laptop. This is normal if the compouter is OFF and the monitor is ON. Is the computer still on and connected to the monitor?
Check your connections to the PC. Make sure that they are nice and secure. If there is a resolution problem setting it should display the boot process and then go blank after starting the operating system.
I think you have loose cabling somewhere. Try to unplug (and untangle) the video cables and then plug them all back together firmly. If this does not work and you know your machine is booting up properly, you might have damaged the monitor somehow accidentally.
Sometimes this is due to graphics cards, but most of the time it is due to drivers. If it does not happen when you are using your PC for other things the problem probably just lies with the graphic card, driver, and this particular game or any game similar. Drivers are the most notorious! Check your requirements on the game for graphics cards recommendations! Let me know!
see there is power in monitor and check also that your monitor is getting signal from cpu just remove the data vga data cable from cpu and see is it showing any massage on screen like check signal or any other massage. and check your keybord also by pressing num lock key see the light is on and aoff when you pressing the num lock button . if nothing is happen that mean your monitor is not getting signal from cpu and it is not monitor problem .
It's either the LCD monitor is not receiving video signal from the PC or something is wrong with the input circuitry of the monitor.
1. If it is the PC, it could be anything from the video card, memory or something else;
2. If it is the monitor, you have to open it up and diagnose the problem. This would probably require component level repair. You have to be familiar with the use of a soldering iron, a VOM and circuit analysis to be able to do a DIY.
If you can borrow or have access to a known good 2nd monitor you can confirm which one is the issue, PC or monitor.
Hope this works out for you. Pls post again how things turn up that we can further resolve the problem. Good luck and kind regards.
