Sitting all winter with battery tender battery tested good all I get is A click when trying to start
The best place to store a battery is in the back of your refrigerator, but you don't want to do that.Your battery will hibernate in the cold, but will age in the warmth. Your car battery is outside all winter and it does not freeze. I put my batteries in a tray, fully charge them and leave them in the garage, topping them up one or twice during the winter and once before installation in the spring. If a battery freezes I would have had to replace it anyway it would not have been good for the season anyway. Put your battery on a different charger and have your battery load tested at a shop. You either have a defective battery, or a defective battery tender, or both. At any rate warm storage for batteries is bad, cool or cold is better for longevity.
