Holding down buttons...

I'm having a problem with the whole "keep pressing the key" ordeal. Like my shift key (both of them) need to be constently pressed down just to make it work... I also have to time the way i hit the keys just to even make any other characters aside from a-z and 1-0. Is there anyway I can some how not have to press a key repeatedly to have the same effect as a key being held down?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My shift key wont work at all

Holding down both shift keys at the same time wont work. Chances are you have a dead key. use the other shift key instead. if a program is mapped to use specifically that shift key, remap it to the opposite one.

If you are using a desktop, replace the keyboard; if it is a laptop replace it if you can yourself, otherwise, call a computer technician.

Keyboard Problem

Holding down the right-side SHIFT key has activated the "Sticky Keys" feature in Windows -- designed for physically-handicapped people who cannot press more than one key at a time.

I accidently locked my keyboard while holding down the shift key,

it sounds like you have sticky keys on.
this would come on by pressing the shift key 5 times.
press any two keys at the same time and the control panel will come up.
