How hard is it to Flash the BIOS in a Fujitsu laptop??? My BIOS is version 1.03 and the latest is 1.06

I've not flashed a bios on a Fujitsu notebook, but have on lots of others. Most of the time it involves booting to a floppy disk or a USB device containing the bios flash files. It's a simple thing to do, but why do you want to flash the bios? I tend to not flash the BIOS on a system unless I'm having some sort of problem.

To reset the BIOS password read the information from this link.

Before you open it up I would suggest trying Hiren's Boot CD and Kill CMOS to wipe the BIOS.

You can try these options :
Option 1: Check for the Fujitsu Logo , restart the computer then press the ENTER key on the Fujitsu logo this will give you options of F2 for bios as well as Diagnostic. Press on Diagnostic programs it will run the test.
Option 2: If this were not available try to connect an external monitor, if you can see images on the external monitor , the problem might be the video card or motherboard.
Option 3: Call the Fujitsu Technical Support.Just provide your Serial Number on the bottom of your Lifebook
You may contact them at:
Phone Support (Direct to Service Desk)
1-800-8FUJITS (1-800-838-5487)
Available 24 hours, 7 days a week
Option 4: You can also call them and inquire for the nearest Authorized Service Provider in your Area.
