HP DV6315ca wireless not working

Are you having problems? If you are, I am not surprised. You will have driver issues.
Contact www.hp.com for drivers. If there are no drivers for XP then it won't work properly.

Downgrading from Vista to XP is not a good choice. Specially HP Notebooks are not comaptible with retail version operating systems and its difficult to find the drivers and get it work.

I found a few. Please install in the same sequence and check. A restart is must after each driver installation.

I had this problem too. You need the HP Wireless Assistant. Download it here- ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp36501-37000/sp36770.exe

Once installed, open the HP Wireless Assistant and click Properties button. Check the box next to "Independent controls for installed wireless devices." Then click "Turn All On" button. On next boot it will be enabled!

You have to download Windows XP version on the drivers you require. The Vista versions won't work with XP.

Go to www.hp.com WEB site, then to their support/download page
Search for the network driver for you model laptop. Download and install the network driver.

generally manufacture dont support downgrade, before downgrading please check for drivers for xp in manufacture website

go to add remove hardware. uninstall it the driver.. then unisstall the program... then reinstall the program then go back to add hardware and install it threw there 2

Sorry to inform you but you cant downgrade from vista to xp on this model I have found most systems that are designed to run vista lose several drivers when downgraded to xp.

the only solution that will restore drivers would be to reload vista by purchasing an upgrade version of vista (this allows an upgrade from xp to vista and will restore drivers only catch is your xp operating system must be xp home with sp2(service pack 2).

When you removed vista from your machine you actually downgraded by replacing the vista operating system with XP.
