My laptop moniter turns on as usual with the proper reading. I start in safe mode as normal..wait about 10 min and screen goes white

When booting up computer constantly tap F12. until you get a boot selection screen.
At that point use the arrow key to make sure start windows normally is selected, and hit enter.

That will knock it out of safe mode. if by hitting F12 you do not get to the boot selection screen, then shut off the laptop, unplug the charger, wait 10 seconds, and then turn the computer on, and the menu should appear.

- If you able to strt in safe mode then update your graphic drivers just go the site of your Laptop manufacture. Once there enter the model number OR service tag of the laptop then request driver (usually found in the web site's "Support Section"). There you should be able to find all the drivers for your model laptop
- Return BIOS settings to their default levels. An overclocked or misconfigured BIOS can cause all sorts of random issues, including BSODs and white screen
-If this didn't help you then simply get the Intel software partner Reginout to fix all the errors and registry issues which causing white screen

LOL a Recovery CD should be made when you first purchased the system. Now that you have it all bugged up, I would doubt that a Recovery CD you make now would even work. Most times the ones you make anyway don't work.

I think you should turn off the laptop, turn it on and immediately start hitting F8 repeatedly to get into Safe Mode. I've never heard of a situation where the monitor wont load fast enough to launch safe mode.

If that's the case it sounds like you need to fix the problem with the laptops lcd screen.

What do you mean when you say windows wont operate properly? I think you've got viruses or infections that you need to get rid of.

Try starting it in safe mode.
When the computer is starting just after the beep or when the bios info goes away press f8 repeatedly and you will get an option to open in regular or safe mode.
Alternativly you can also hold down teh ctrl key and it should do the same.
Did you install or update and drivers recently?

Please reinstall the Video Driver and check if the same issue persists. If the issue started within last 90 days, you can try the System Restore

safe mode is not a normal thing during your windows boot sequence :)
if your display works ok until those 10 minutes of safe mode are over i would say that reinstalling your windows operating system will most likely solve your monitor issues :)

Go back into Safe Mode, and try to run a system restore to a date where this issue did not exist.

this might be an issue with a corrupted settings on the windows normal mode. try doing msconfig on safe mode and uncheck everything on startup. if this wont fix it, reinstall windows.

When you boot up start pressing F8 and you should get a Windows startup page with more options. If you do select Safe Mode
When windows has loaded, goto MSConfig and select Diagnostic Startup. Ok and reboot
See if windows boots normally.

Well try to boot into the safe mode.hit F8 on the startup and see if you get the same acreen.If its working fine in safe mode than you need to reinstall the video driver and that should resolve the issue.If it is still not working try connecting a external moniter.If you get the same display on the external moniter than its an issue with the video card and if you get a normal display on that than its an issue with the Laptop screen and you would ahve to get either of thses replaced by contacting the manufacturer.
