There are two possibilities

  1. Do you use rechargeable batteries supplied with it? If yes it can be malfunction of batteries try to replace it with new one according to it's specification.
  2. If you don't use batteries and have direct power supply then then capacitors of it's power unit are weak.
Try to count the time in which the dvd power itself off. If every time it is same then option No: 2 is correct
Here is the last option as i think.
Reclaim your warranty (if it exist).
If your product does not work properly because of a defect in materials or workmanship,
Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company or Panasonic Sales Company (collectively
referred to as “the warrantor”) will, for the length of the period indicated on the chart below,
DvD Parts = 1 year (Starts from your buying date)
Labor or repairing = 90 days (starts from your buying date)
Rechargeable batteries = 10 days (starts from your buying date)
which starts with the date of original purchase (“Limited Warranty period”), at its option
either (a) repair your product with new or refurbished parts, or (b) replace it with a new or
a refurbished product. The decision to repair or replace will be made by the warrantor.
During the “Labor” Limited Warranty period there will be no charge for labor. During
the “Parts” warranty period, there will be no charge for parts. You must mail-in your
product during the warranty period. If non-rechargeable batteries are included, they
are not warranted. This Limited Warranty only applies to products purchased and
serviced in the United States or Puerto Rico. This Limited Warranty is extended only to
the original purchaser and only covers product purchased as new. A purchase receipt
or other proof of original purchase date is required for Limited Warranty service.

If you are in USA and your product is in warranty period then reclaim your warranty.Contact me again for any suggestion

Try to replace your power unit's defected or damaged capacitor(s) with new one ( If you know how to do this. if not then get the support of an electronics technician)

It is the failure of the spindle motor to cause problems like this. Problem can also be a leaky diode in the power supply.

I strongly recommend you to buy a new one.

since the player is facing the power problem it is shutting itself OFF.
so please see the fault manually in the power board.
else take the help of a tech.

note:trying it by yourself is only when you are aware of it. and you are doing it your own risk.

On my xbox 360 when i'm playing a game then suddenly directs me to the desk top and when i shut my xbox 360 off the power button flashes green every few seconds why is this happening ?

It sounds like a DVD drive error. When the center light inside the "ring of light" blinks rapidly it thinks the DVD drive is either open or not connected. You can buy a new DVD drive off Ebay for a decent price or take it to a professional shop. When changing the DVD drive you have to also put the original PCB from the old drive onto the new one or it will not play games. It will play DVD's all day but no games. There is a bit of soldering involved. If your not confident you can make the repair check out this site for help. they do good work and are very reasonable.

It stops playing certain song after a few seconds

I am glad to HELP YOU!

If your machine, using a multimedia application, it stops suddenly to play a CERTAIN song ["it stops playing certain song after a few seconds"] that means the file [the song, I mean] is broken/damaged/corrupted. So - using other words - cannot be read by the application itself.
All you need to do is to get another file [the same song but from a DIFFERENT SOURCE] hoping the new file will be in good condition.

My best regards!

There is a part that is called an idler wheel assembly that is critical for play, rewind, and fast forward, and may have stopped working. The second possibility is that the drive belt that runs the idler assembly has broken or come off.
