If you hear the blower ramp up when you start the dryer and it slowly ramps down or quits all together then you need to replace the blower.

If there is no lint blocking the air outlet path, I would next check two things: First, is the dryer in a small, closed room? If there is not enough space for air to get in to the dryer, it won't have good airflow through the clothes. Second, for older dryers, the blower fan may be loose on its shaft or, if the blower has its own separate motor, the blower motor might be dead. In order to find the blower fan, you'll have to be able to open up the dryer. Once you find the fan, see if it turns easily without moving the motor shaft -- if so, you need to replace the fan. Also, be sure there isn't anything blocking the blades of the fan.

My dryer is not drying my clothes completely. I have to set it to time dry for at least 120 minutes to get a load of clothes to dry. I can feel that the dry is warm .I usually dry my clothes on optimum dry...

Your dryer has a double set of heating elements
themobilian_2122.jpg
1 side of the coils is probably broken and you are getting half the heat.
This is making the dryer take longer to dry them clothes.
themobilian_2123.jpg
themobilian_2124.jpg
Air restrictions in the dryer and vent can cause the heater control to shut down quickly also.
If you have a bad breaker the power will sometimes work and sometimes not.
themobilian_2125.jpg
If all of these are good you might have a problem with the timer.

Most of the GE timers have leaf switches in the that get a burr on the contacts. The come apart simple enough.

No heat

ok so you have some heat.your dryer unless an ge one has one element so if you have heat its working.then what you have is an exust problem.once you heat up the clothes and cause the moisture to evaporate then it must be able to leave the dryer or it reclings to the clothes, hence lond dry times.to test this dry a load with the venting undone and the dryer pulled out.dont worry it wont start a fire/never!its about 180 degress to 130 of moist air. if ok then confirms that venting is blocked.some times dryers get blocked internaly also but do the other first.God bless, tom
