Question about Computers & Internet
My imac computer froze and I had to turn it off while working with photos from my Minolta dimage X1 (now owned by Sony). When I turned it back on unsaved pix were lost but I still was able to access the camera folder holding all the original photos. But later when I was ready to end the session I was unable to trash the Minolta icon as required before turning off the camera because the icon had disappeared. A search of the computer showed a Minolta folder but when I clicked on it a message box reported that it was just an ''alias'' and that the ''volume'' was missing. A further search could not find the volume. For now I can still take photos and locate them on my computer when the camera is in its cradle. But I am concerned about damaging the disk or camera if I can't trash the icon first as directed. Settings on the camera have already been re-set to default status. Any other suggestions?
