Question about Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
You can also try to reinstall the Network adapter
Click Start -> Right click on My computer -> Properties -> hardware -> device manager -> Network adapters
Right click and uninstall provided you have the driver disk from the manufacturer. After you uninstalled click Action on the device manager and click scan for hardware changes. This should automatically install the driver for the network adapter. Otherwise install the driver from the manufacturer disk
