Try replacing the negative battery cable ($60). It's a good start and may save you a bunch of money in needless repairs in the long run. My Yukon was doing this on top of other electrical issues. The faulty cable caused this issue and many other electrical related issues for me and is installed on many Yukons.

I would recommend disconnecting the alarm and having it checked out by a qualified installer. It sounds like there may be a problem with the brain of the alarm itself. Disconnecting it will prevent the motors from burning out.

Cobra alarm

After market alarms are horrible on MB's as they have built in alarms. If you mean the remote your going to have to get the frequency code from the manufacturer or have the dealership program it to control the alarm if the last 1 did.

If you dont know how the system works I would suggest removing it as most systems dont work well with the pneumatic central locking and fail by burning up wiring it is connected to.

For the system to arm, the ignition switch must be off and the key removed. Then, the multiplex control unit must receive signals that the doors, hood, and trunk lid are closed and locked. When everything is closed and locked, none of the control unit inputs are grounded.

The door switches, hood switch, trunk lid switch, door lock knob switches, and door lock cylinder switches are all open. Ten seconds after the doors are locked with the key or the lock knob, or immediately after locking the doors with the remote transmitter, the system arms.

If anything is opened or improperly unlocked after the system is armed, the control unit gets a ground signal from that switch, and the system is set off.

If one of the switches is misadjusted or there is a short in the system, the system will not arm. As long as the control unit continues to get a ground signal, it thinks the vehicle is not closed and locked and will not arm.

An alarm that sounds for no apparent reason may have been set off by a switch that is on the threshold of misadjustment. In this case, it may only take a significant change in outside temperature, the vibration of a passing truck, or someone bumping into the vehicle to make the alarm sound.

Might just be broken wires between the door and the frame. HAve you checked this area. JUst pull back the wires seal. If yes just reapir those and everything should be ok and your alarm will still work. Remember to check all doors wires.
