My Tunturi J620P stops and E-1 shows in display

If the error Do not appear,continue.Electrical fluctuation can be have actuated in the system electric power, and cause the display error.

I also have a speed problem with my Tunruri J620. In the last week the speed gets erratic over 4.0 mph. speed sensor is not labeled on any diagrams in manual. I took off the cover and the only piece that seems possible is a black piece about 1 " square that sits on the edge of the control board where the board is notched for the motor flywheel. the flywheel has alternating reflective and black coating on the side facing this piece. I believe this must be the speed sensor and that it is an optical or maybe magnetic sensor that measures the time between the pass of each reflective mark on the flywheel. The black piece has a phillips screw that looks like an adjustment screw in the center. It is flush with the end of the control board which is about 0.6 cm from the face of the flywheel.

1) Exchange batteries for new ones.
2) Tight the flexible cable from keypanel vs display board.
3) Tight again the connector from display board to lower board or main motor board.4)adjust the sensor reed switch bby 1/8" see the diagram attached.
5)See if you test measure for +5VDC coming from power suply then main motor board and finally Display board.
6) Test the power supply form output +5VDC , and input from main motor controller board.

See the block diagram that I did for people like you, for better and undertanding diagnostic.

suggestion: Run the calibration software read the owner manual and see the steps under your hood. sincerely.Merry Christmas.

If any error code appears on the display or there are other

malfunctions, proceed as follows:

1. Turn off the power switch for a minute and then

turn it on again.

2. Insure the tether key is properly inserted.

3. Insure the power cord is properly plugged.

4. Insure the treadmill is properly lubricated (see 4.3.

LUBRICATING THE RUNNING DECK).

5. If the error code does not disappear after the

above mentioned maintenance actions, please

contact your local TUNTURI dealer. Always give

the error code and serial number (see the sticker

at the back of the frame, below the left-hand side

rail).

Please apply teflon by using the pressurised can provided

with these instructions.

1. Let the treadmill run at a slow speed and spray

teflon into the lubrication .

Press ‘ELEVATION DOWN’ to decrease the elevation to minimum percentage 0% Press ‘SPEED UP’ to increase speed value and ‘SPEED DOWN’ to decrease speed value. Press ‘ENTER’ to repeat above test or ‘SELECT’ and ‘ SPEED DOWN’ buttons simultaneously to return to the normal mode

haha, the motor was stressed and burnt up. no fixes no repairs, sorry you need a new engine
