Question about Canon PowerShot A540 Digital Camera
The Canon Power Shot A 540 has a lens that will not open all the way. It shows a diagonal shot on the screen. I tried changing batteries but that wasn't the problem. Today, when I tried to use the camera, the lens cover would only open a fraction of the way. I tried replacing batteries but it did not help. Suggestions? . . .
The mechanical part that is trying to open the lens cover is having a problem
1. a lodged piece of foreign material
2. A broken piece within the camera is interfering
3. A piece in the camera that helps control the lens or another piece by the lens is out of place
Please check this out if you are comfortable doing so and let me know what comes of it
