How do you open earpiece for troubleshooting no sound from right side and something rattling around

What you do is peel back the cusion of the ear pad. You might need to tear off the foam covering. You can glue it back on when your done with Bostick white glue. With the coverings gone you should see access screws.

My Motorola S305 stereo bluetooth headphones' foam pads on one of the ears is falling off. I've tried using something like a credit card to pinch the foam back into the game where it seems to be held in,...

Hey, this might be too late to help you, but I figured I'd share in case anyone else came across this while looking for help (as I did).
There's a small inner ring that the edge of the foam ear pads wraps around, but you can't really fit it under there while it's attached to the earpiece. The solution? I used something thin (specifically a nail file) to remove this "ring". It actually seems designed to pop on and off. I was then able to easily wrap the foam ear pad around the ring, then re-attach the ring to the rest of the earpiece.
Hope that helps!

Have a Siemens 7010 can't hear the phone ringing when I dial a number. Person at the other end can hear me but I can't hear them

The problem with your phone is that the earpiece on your phone is bad that is why you cannot hear the party calling you or hear anything while you call.

All you need to do is to replace the earpiece on your phone and you will see that you can hear whoever you are talking to on your phone.

Change the earpiece on your phone and you will see that the problem is solved. meanwhile, you can keep using the headset pending the time you will replace the earpiece.

Good luck.

You can buy replacement plugs and solder them on. Make sure you take the old one to the store when you purchase the replacement. The next thing you need to do is figure out which wire goes to which part on the plug. You can us a volt ohm meter to test the old plug and see which color of wire or which color of wire insulation matches to which part of the plug. You can also try taking the foam pad off the left earpiece and look to see if you can get the speaker plate off the earpiece. Once off you can look to see which color goes wher. There will be another wire there that connects the right earpiece to the left one. Make sure you unscrew the shield from the plug and put it over the cord facing the correct direction before you solder the plug to the wiring. Screw it to the plug after. Hope this helps.

Siemens Gigaset 4000 No Sound

Hi Krister,

It sounds from your symptoms (no pun intended) that your handset receiver/speaker has gone bad, or if you use a headset, the circuit might have gotten ripped open from tension from the headset plug. You can try plugging in a standard 2.5 mm plug headset into it (real common headset). My guess is that you will be able to hear dialtone using a headset and use the phone, but the phone will continue not ring or make key beeps.

Its fixable, but with the Siemens models don't let anyone try to open it. To work properly it needs to snap together tight, and guaranteed they will gouge the plastic and break the more than 10 tabs that keep it held snug together, there are no screws. The skill to open them without damaging them is proper training and muscle memory, which is reserved for the people that do it daily, plus if the plastic needs replacing it will add to your costs. Nevertheless, if you want it fixed, just google "Siemens Cordless Repair" and click the first or second non sponsored link to make arrangements to get it fixed. Good Luck and let me know if I was right about the headset audio.
