I have a canon elura 60 and im trying to download my video to my computer so i can email it to someone. how do i do this?

You need a DV firewire cable and video capture software (there are several different program on the market)

The zoom assembly will need to be replaced. This repair should be done by an experienced technician. Unfortunately, there is no easy fix that you can do yourself.

A firewire cable is the only way.
USB can only download stills.

My canon elura 60 digital video camcorder doesn't zoom in and out. it seems to be stuck


Sometimes a smack around the edge of the lens will work. If it doesn't, then it might be a motor issue and will need to be taken apart.

In some cases when recording on a camer the display is run through the eye piece on some models there are switches or settings in your menu .. you can try that

Tape deck won't open


Hello.
1. Completely remove battery and then restore it and try.
2. If you here sound of engine when camera wants to open door but can`t shake door by hand.
If problem persist you need to open it inside and clean it.

Download movie to computer


I have an elura 65 and I believe this model does not let you download your movies onto the computer in full motion. you can only do it through quicktime or some other similar program using less frames. the higher models: elura 70 etc. are supposed to be capable of transferring full motion film. that's what I understood from the owners manual. hope this helps

mine just won't load the tape. mechanism closes fine when I take the tape away and try door. sits there until I do.
