Try sticking your phone overnight in a bowl of uncooked rice. Sounds insane, I know, but I've seen it used to fix waterlogged phones a billion times. It's easy to do and worth a shot. Best of luck!

I recently sank my 1998 Honda 250 recon. I have changed the oil and cleaned the carb but it is blowing lots of white smoke.

if it was running when you sank it, it more than likely sucked water into the cylinder and you have some broken piston rings.

Fell my xperia s in salt water

This happened to my phone once, I just took it apart (the bits I could, sim card, battery, cover etc) then dried it for quite some time with a hairdrier (on a cool setting) then left it over night apart. Put it back together in the morning and it worked. I'm guessing there was still water/ moisture inside of it to stop it working..

How I turn off swype tutorial on lg optimus?

with my LG phone the solution to it was take it out to the lake and use it for a skipping stone. It didn't even work well as a rock except for the part where it sank.

I sank my 91 toyota 4runner and have a knocking in the engine.

If by "sank" you mean submerged in water while the engine was running you probably bent a conecting rod or broke a piston. Water does not compress and if the engine ingested water you have done some major internal damage. No quick fix for this, the engine has to be rebuilt.

My Nokia 3220 is continuously buzzing when I inserted the battery. Set was sank in a bathtub and soaked.

remove the battery and flip the phone upside down to air dry. Check where the battery goes to see if it was water damanged by the white dot being pink.

Network ICU is damaged due to water in NOKIA 3110c

I'm not sure what your question is..
However if it fell in water the ONLY thing you can do is IMMEDIATELY take the battery out and let it and the phone dry COMPLETELY.

Even that is not guaranteed to work, if you've done so or failed to do so and it is not working or working improperly the phone is useless. There is little anyone can do except replace it.

Sorry about your luck, if you had another question please post.

Solutions for nokia 2310 backlight

good day,

i suggest that you don't turn on the phone if it is not yet thoroughly dried, this might cause some short circuit on the system. you can use a hair drying in doing this.

however, if you're certain that your phone is already dry, try turning it on and check for errors. in the case that you stated, it seems that your phone has been damaged due to being submerged in water. if the backlight will not turn on again after making sure that your phone is thoroughly dried, have it checked by a competent technician and prevent further damage to your phone.

i hope this will help

How wet did it get? Was it submerged? The backlight would normally shut off after a short idle period or when you close the cover. If it is staying on all the time after water damage then there is still water in a component (like a capacitor) or corrosion that has opened or shorted a circuit path somewhere confusing the phone. There is a good chance that corrosion will become worse and do more damage. New problems could arise any time in the next few days or few years. If this were my phone I would disassemble it and clean it with rubbing alcohol, toothbrush, and air duster but there is some risk even for someone experienced. Also, microphones can be damaged by fluids including rubbing alcohol.
