Question about Apple Power Mac G5 Desktop
Woke my computer up and the screens went black but I could see my mouse. After a couple of minutes the desktop appeared but would not allow me to operate it. I manually shut down and when I powered back up I got the grey screen with a blinking folder and question mark. I have tried hardware test and install discs while holding down c control option pr along wih a few other simple things. Please help. Thanks in advance

Ok get ready for this, you have a PRAM battery on the motherboard, since your system is old the battery is dead. It is the same as a CMOS battery for a PC. It hold crucial startup info. Open the case replace the battery (can be bought at any radio shack) Press the reset on the mob and start from cd and set date and time then restart.
