Re: Using a Mobile broadband service for online use.
Im very possitive you cant do that the ones you can do it with normal wireless broadband boxes (wi fi) you can use this wireless by going to your network settings and put wireless (also wired you choice) and then it will tell you to fill some things out with the internet cable with a wireless broadband you can wire it but the connection is better but that depends on how or were u use it wireless is still very very good for more questions (DGKME@yahoo.com) also myspace.

look for a net gear router and dont bother buying a N+ its not worth it for starters its a scam it even says on the news so get a net gear G wireless router and its roughly £35-50 but its worth it, buy it from amazon or from a argos or littlewoods site. im hopefully going to get wireless in christmas time, so ill hopefully add you some time soon you can contact me thru here for my name if i do get online
Yes you can! After 10 days of trial and error I finaly cracked this problem on sunday. Since then I've had several lag free hours on COD4 and RFOM with smooth play and no dropped connections. Now I'm not a techie but I will explain the best I can. I use 3 mobile broadband. First open your Network Connections. You will see the 3 modem, ignore this for now. Further down you will see 2 ethernet connections, Local are connection, and 1394 connection. Right click one of these and Bridge the connection. Then open the properties of your 3 modem and under Advanced click on internet connection sharing. Install your ethernet cable from the back of your computer directly to the PS3. On your PS3 network settings search for the new connection. On testing it should work. Hey presto your online. I use win xp on my system and it usualy works fine. Sometimes you get a DNS error, keep retrying, if no luck, restart your pc, connect your 3 service and you should be good to go. Hope this helps, good luck
now then or you hav to do is plug it to your pc go to internet connection t mobile properties then advanced allow to share to other connections then plug your cable to your pc from your ps3 you might have to turn your windows firewall off or just change the settings if you dont want 2 turn it off
