Lawnflite mower wont start. I have no response

Lawnflite mower wont start. I have no response from the ignition. I have changed the solenoid and also the ignition switch with no joy. I can cross the terminals on the solenoid to get the mower to start but this is not ideal.

Lawnflite 630 ride on mower. Key to turn how do we start the engine?

did you lose your key? here is a link to buy one, they are generic so you might be able to go to a local lawnmower shop for that. if it wont start with the key check your safety switches at the blade control lever under the panel and under the seat. riding lawnmowers that sit out get rusted all over, look for rust and bad connections under the service panel and battery compartment, sand connections with sandpaper..

4530 mahindra ignition wont start tractor, but will start by jumping seilenoid to starter

Well it could be several things a safety switch for the seat, mower deck etc not in the proper position. Blown fuse, bad ignition switch, burned out solenoid. if you jump the battery side of the solenoid to the small terminal and nothing happens, it's the solenoid. If it turns over check the other items. Start with the fuse that powers the ignition switch.

Lt 2000 craftsman riding mower wont start by key only jumping cylanoid

Bad ignition switch or bad solenoid (there is no such thing as a "cylanoid"). Start by testing continuity through the ignition switch and, if the ignition switch is good, replace the solenoid.

I have a cub cadet lt104 and we replaced the battery and solenoid and it won't start

wont crank or wont start. 2 different things...

wont crank, in this order: check fuse, brake switch ( adjustment and operation ) and then ignition switch

wont start but does crank: check for spark, yes then check fuel shut off solenoid. no, disconnect kill wire to coil and check again, still no, coil is issue, if yes after disconnecting kill wire suspect a safety switch

Drive belt cub cadet rz

Thank you for your responses. I have 12 V at the switch, 12V across the solonoid. I have the safety switches bypassed. Last year for some reason it wouldn't start with the key so I turned the key on and jumped the solenoid to get it going. It was a joke in theneighborhood but it worked fine. I changed the ignition switch and now it won't even start with the solenoid.I will check the starter it may be a coincidence. Could I have crossed the wires on the ignition switch. I can't find a schematic.
Thank you

My tractor mower wont start. I have put in a new

If your starter does not have a solenoid on it,you can tell by checking to see if has only one post[no solenoid ]or three posts[solenoid style],then you need to check the starter relay[ or solenoid] that is mounted elsewhere on the machine. If there is a wire that goes to ground on it and one that comes live with the key in the start position the the solenoid[or relay],is defective. If you have no power from the ignition switch in the start position then you likely have a bad safety switch somewhere, usually the pto or park brake switch.
