the + sign can be replaced by 00 , followed by international code

Here is international code for Australia
to call Australia you can use +61 or 0061, the phone whill make no difference.
From here you can find the international dial codes for the whole world.
Refer to your phone company for more information.

Another thing, on many phones the plus sign comeso out keeping the '0' or '1' key for 4 or 5 seconds.

Dvd not reading

The objective here is for us to determine if the dvd is bad or Operating system is causing DVD not able to detect DVD's or cds

Hardware Issue

1. Try booting the computer from the DVD. Use the windows XP or vista or windows 7 to boot with it
2. If the DVD boots up. Definitely the DVD rom is working because it can read dvds outside of windows proceed to step 4
3. If it does not boot up make sure that the dvd is working on another DVD rom. And we are sure that the dvdrom is bad and needs to be replaced

Software Issue

4. Click start -> Click Run (Windows XP)/ Start Search (Vista) / Search Programs and Files (Windows 7)
5. Type Regedit
6. Click on the triangle/plus sign beside HKEY_LOCAL_ MACHINE

8.Click on the triangle/plus sign beside CurrentControlSet
9.Click on the triangle/plus sign beside Class
10.Click on the Folder {4D36E965-.......}

Note: The first 4 digits might be the same we need the digit that has a 65

I need the instruction to set the machine right for sending a fax from Cambodia to Australia or receiving a fax from Australia. I typed number in Australis to send a fax but my friend there did not receive...

There is not much to do than to set the machine in the fax mode after setting up the time and data as instructed on the interactive menu .
You need to type the STD code of cambodia and the number of the fax there which must also be active. Make sure that you enter the correct local code if the number is in sub-district.
Ask your friend to send the fax after placing your machine in fax mode.
Make sure there is dial tone and you are able to make calls using the telephone mode.
if not check the connection.
