One should never lubricate a lock with oil. Obtain some switch cleaner and use that the flush the oil out, then lubricate the locks with graphite powder.

If you are using McCulloh Custom Lubricant, mix 40 parts regular gasoline to 1 part Lubriocant (put 3.2 fluid ounce of Lubricant in 1 US gallon of regular gasoline).

If you are using SAE 40 weight two cycle oil, mix 20 parts regular gasoline to 1 part tow cycle oil (put 6.4 fluid ounce of two cycle oil in 1 US gallon of regular gasoline).

What if I put to much oil in

If you put too much oil in, the crank shaft will pump it full of air and your oil pump (if you have one) can not pump the air filled oil. Result: no lubrication. If your engine uses the splash system, you will be splashing foam, not oil. result: poor lubrication. Recommendation: do not over fill. if it is over full now, drain some off.

How to take apart a signer 7430 model

You can remove screws bottom plate, however, unless you are mechanically inclined, I would take in for service. Lay machine back on soft cloth or old towel. Don't lose screws! Oil moving parts one drop good quality sewing machine only and use Singrr lubricant on gears. If you don't have oil or lubricant, you can blow hair dryer 1-2 minutes and put plate back on. Never oil or lubricate plastic parts! One drop oil on shuttle hook, Run scrap to distrubute oil before sewing on project fabric ! Jimmy

Lost operating and maintenance instructions. Need to know how much oil to put into the self lubricating chain reservoir and where it feeds the chain to make sure there isn't a blockage anywhere.

You are free to charge to the top if you think right to use a chainsaw. It is essential that the oil is clean. If you accidentally charge too much (full hopper) it is good the rest of oil put back in the oil bottle or to extend on the chain. It is important that it is not oil-free and should be cleaned around the chain for good lubrication.

Product NR83A2. Lubricate is coming from the trigger and exhaust cover. The nailer is new and I put lubricate in the gun prior to placing the air plug on. What is the best way to drain the excess...

Excess oil will eventually be consumed /blown out of gun, however if you store the gun over-nite with air inlet pointed down, gravity will assist. I find that oil /water will accumulate inside gun especially if compressor is passing oil and/or weather conditions cause system to produce lots of water. Majority of guns that come in for repair suffer from a lack of lubrication. Several drops at start of day should be ok for oil lubricated compressors and maybe more for oil-less. If oil drips out of gun overnight (if stored as stated above) then reduce drops. What actually shortens life of gun is debris that enters gun from handling and that enters hoses during transport. Before connecting air hose to gun (with hose under pressure) momentarily connect a spare quick connect fitting and blow debris out of hose.

Older hunter original, needs lubrication. Where do I put the lubrication in? What kind of lubrication/oil? Used to buy fan oil, but no longer available, Fan has clicking noise and lubrication oil...

This is the owner's manual to your fan

As for oil, you can use one of two oils. Depending on how old your fan is, I suggest changing the oil by removing the fan, turning the motor completely over and letting it drain into the "dish" on the part that spins, clean the oil out of there, then re-hang the fan and oil with 1 oz of either Hunter Fan Oil (which is available from hunter, or on ebay, just search for Hunter Original Fan) or Zoom Spout Oiler, both are the same oil.

How do i lubricant my treadmill

it is an indicator that the belt needs lubricating. turn the power off, and lift up one side of the belt and spray a small amount of lubricant underneath the belt, onto the running board. repeat this step on the other side. turn the treadmill on and run it for a few minutes to spread the lubricant. the oil light should now go off.
this should be repeated every 5-6 months to keep the board lubricated and to reduce friction between the belt and board and will lengthen the life of your treadmill.

Ive put petrol in the oil tank

Just drain the oil, refill, and I think I'd run it to warm it up fully AFTER draining and refiling, and drain and refill again. You shouldn't drive it w/ gasoline in the oil, as it will thin out the oil and it won't lubricate as it should, and the extra half litre would be overfilled a bit, which would cause the oil to foam, which also would affect lubrication. countrycurt0
