Vacuum does not have good suction. We've cleaned

Vacuum does not have good suction. We've cleaned the filters and checked for obstructions and it still does not work as efficiently as it should.

Mine was doing something similar. When standing upright, suction was strong through the hose. When I lowered the handle to sweep the floor, the bar underneath would spin, but the suction seemed horrible and the dirt inside the window wasn't spinning/cycloning like it used to. I called Dyson Support and they had me lay the vacuum on it's left side. Now look underneath and you'll see a clear hose, one end connected to the upper part of the vacuum and the other to the lower. I removed the tube and it was completely clogged, especially at the point that it connects to the bottom part of the vaccum. After that I reconnect and it sucks like the day I got it. Dyson support is still sending me a new "internal hose" but I don't think I need it.

Sometimes debris can still be hidden in odd places. if you have access to compressied air you might carefully us it to blow out all the passageways that the air travels from the brush to the dirt holding area. make sure you dont have a filter that you missed when you replaced them. use low pressure air to blow out the system as high pressre air might damage a part of the system.is the motor running at the normal speed? if not you might try to find out why and fix that as well. as always never worksk on a vacuum that is plegged in. good luck.

Filter queen vacuum head has no power

More information needed. When you turn on the vacuum do you hear the motor running? Is the problem that there is no suction at the head? Is there suction at the canister when the hose is removed? I would first check to make sure that there is no obstruction in the hose. Have you checked the filters to see if they are clean?

My Miele S3141 canister began acting strange this morning. No suction...so I took off the hose and checked for blockage, (nothing). Now I can't get the hose back on the canister. It just slips ar

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
Air filter:
If the vacuum cleaner won't pick up dirt and has no suction the air filter might be clogged. Remove the filter and either clean or replace it as needed.
Exhaust Filter If the vacuum cleaner won't pick up and has no suction the exhaust filter might be clogged. Remove and clean the filter, replace it if its torn or damaged.

Vacuum Hose If the vacuum cleaner won't pick up and has no suction the vacuum hose might be clogged. Remove the hose from the vacuum cleaner, stretch it out straight, shine a bright flashlight in one end and try to see light through it. If no light can be seen, use something to run through the hose and free up the obstruction.
Vacuum Bag If the vacuum cleaner won't pick up and has no suction the vacuum bag might be full. Clean or replace the bag as recommended by the manufacturer.

Dust Cup AssemblyIf the vacuum cleaner won't pick up and has no suction the dust cup assembly might not be installed tightly, or it might be cracked or broken. The dust cup must seal tightly in order to produce the right amount of suction. If it is cracked or broken, replace it. Most glues and adhesives will not successfully seal the crack.
Blower Wheel If the vacuum cleaner won't pick up and there is no suction, the blower wheel might be jammed or broken. Check the blower wheel to be certain it turns freely. If it doesn't, check to see if there is anything rubbing against it. If not, but it's hard to turn, the motor is most likely the problem.

The vacuum is hard to manuever; too much suction sound for less suction quality; I've cleaned the unit and replaced the filter. Is it the belt?

Probably it is but vacuum motor and its associate mechanical parts should also be check and clean.
Clean the motor, if suction is still less, then the motor brushes is already wear and need to be replace.
Put back what you disassemble and bring it back together. You must be observant when doing that.
Thanks for asking.

Hi there Our vacuum cleaner exerts no pressur and it doesnt **** anything from mat,, it is just 4 months old bt we have missed the receipt,, cadsn u please help us? thanks and regar

Check your filter/bag especially if you've used it to clean fine particles; they will tend to clog the filters or bag and cause loss of performance. It the filters/bag are good and/or new, check for an obstruction in the hose or suction tube.

Has no suction

1. Remove dust collector compartment/s. Look for any filters, remove and clean. (Make sure you DO NOT clean filters with water.) Take filter/s outside and "slap" them against a flat surface. (Filter will be very messy to clean)
2. Replace all filters and compartments.
3. Also try using a wire hanger and try to reach as far down the hose as possible to remove any obstruction/s.

Note: Clean vacuum filters frequently to ensure proper suction.

The suction has decreased by about 50%. The brush

Check that there is nothing blocking the hose and that there are no obstructions around any of the filters, clean and replace filters too if possible. If you still find you have less than optimum suction , you may need to replace your motor. But it sounds like there may be a blockage or an air leakage somewhere in the unit.Good luck.

Has no suction

I'm not sure if you mean the hose part or the floor part. If it is the hose, please check it for obstructions. Some vacuums have a door that you can open to check for obstructions also. Also, check that your bag (if you have one, I don't know what type you have) is not full and that any filters are clean. Hope this helps as I don't know what type of vacuum you have. Good luck!

Suction is so light when using attachments will not pick up anyth

If there is no obstructions, its probably the motor has burnt out or shorted, causing loss of suction. Good luck.

Panasonic mc-v6840 Low suction.Changed bag and cleaned hose blockage

Check the sole plate where the roller brush is. There may be an obstruction leading from the sole plate to the main dirt channel. Usually on many Panasonic uprights the main dirt channel is a removable bent plastic tube before it meets the bottom of the hose. Check to see if this isn't obstructed. ALso check your filters on the vacuum as sometimes a blocked filter means a lack of suction.
