Use the driver for Windows Vista. It is essentially the same platform in my opinion.

Hello,
Click here to download the driver.
Now install it on your windows 2000.

Note: Windows xp will automatically recognize your dongle without external driver. I personally recommend you to use xp

Usb probs???

Hi gkell00

From Device Manager right click on your wireless adapter and select 'Properties'. Click the 'Power Management' tab and uncheck 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power'.

If this doesn't help then first try Rolling back the wireless adapter driver. If still no joy make sure Windows 7 has all the latest updates installed and you have the latest driver for your wireless adapter.

Does this help?

Windows 7 wont take the download and recognize the adapter. WUSB54gsc

First, you need to either contact the manufacturer or refer to the user manual of the WUSB and verify if the device could support the Windows 7.

There could be a possibility that the wireless USB is supported by Windows 7, but there's no available driver as of the moment.

Once it's verified that the wireless is supported by Win 7, then I'm sure they have an available driver.

Good luck!

If the acer is new with windows 7 then perhaps it will need a driver isntalled first. Some usb devices need drivers and some dont. Netgear might.

Need working Windows 7 driver for Linksys WUSB54G V.1.0 Adapter

This driver should work with Vista, and based on the FAQ it should work with 64-bit although it wasn't designed for the 64-bit OS.

If the link doesn't work, let me know. I'll direct you to the download page to retrieve the driver.
