Question about Kenmore 63942 Dryer
One day our dryer just suddenly started making this loud knocking noise. It sounded like it could be out of balance or something. I pulled it apart and found a 1 inch part of the belt that had lost it's rubber. I thought maybe it was that so I ordered the replacement kit. It came with the new belt, both wheels that the drum rides on, and a new tensioner pully. I installed all of those and the sound was still there. Then I pulled the cover off the blower and found all kinds of stuff (combs, pencils, pens, nails, mass amounts of lint) so I thought that might have been it. It is still making the same original sound. Any help?
Thanks for the question If you found all those things iwould also check the felt around the back of the drumthat just could be the problem you can just look inside the drum to see this thanks for the question The appliancedoc
