Yes, I'm not sure they are in business any more . .googling didn't help much . . the actual model is a T9412 - laser. My neighbor got a new PC and I was helping her get things set up and can't get this printer configured or find a compatible driver . .thanks, gwen

Drivers are available from www.tally.com/support/drivers/t9412-drv.htm ... they do not list a vista driver so it is possible that there are none ... you could try to get vista to use a generic monochrome laser print driver but i can not verify this will work ... tally does not provide any voice or email support for legacy (old) products so you may be out of luck if you cannot find a compatible driver

The drivers on the HP CD are probably not compatible with Vista.

I would suggest visiting the Hewlett-Packard website, navigating to their Support section, and downloading the new drivers for Vista.

Hiya Emma... You need to go to Kodaks site and download drivers to make it compatible with Vista.... this unfortunately is one of the drawbacks of Vista at the moment, in that Vista was released far earlier than the manufacturers would have liked.. the good news for you is there is a driver upgrade available.. click on link direct to driver update to make your equipment Vista ready!!!

Computer does not recgonize my hp printer, running windows vista home edition 32-bit oprerating system

firstly:
  • have you installed the driver for the HP printer,if not do so.
  • is the HP printer Vista compatible, it should say in the literature that came with it .if its an older printer probably not compatible.
  • follow the installation directions fully ( plug the usb cable in when it asks for it etc).
  • use a different usb cable as it may be faulty.
  • check the usb port with another item such as a memory stick to ensure it is working or use another port.
  • remove any printers installed prior to trying to install HP printer and reboot the system.
hope this is of help to you

I have just connected a HP Deskjet 3940 to my new acer computer and it is not printing. I went in print then options and clicked on a few things but still not working. Have new cartidges in 22 and 21

un install the printer driver, reboot ,windows should detect new hardware ,and then insert the cd that came with the printer select have disc and re-install the software.
if your acer has vista you may need to get a vista driver for it,or worse the printer is not compatible with vista.

good luck

I just got a new computer , operating on vista and the cd rom gives this error when i try to install it"your windows version is not supported by the setup program" this is for a "pixma mp 130/110"

Hi,

The message is indicative that the software is not meant for Vista. Perhaps what you can do is to proceed to the Canon site search for and download Vista compatible driver for your printer. Alternately you can try here.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
