Question about HP - HP Photosmart 8250 printer
The "ink system failure" error is caused by air in the ink feed tubes. This happens if you either totally run out of ink and the pump sucks up air from the empty cartridge or you use poorly filled ink cartridges that have sir bubbles. To clear the error you will have to do a feed tube purge.
