The same thing happened to us. It was overheating. We aimed a fan at it and it seems to be working ok for the meantime. Good luck!

NEC Multisync LCD 2080UX has a strip that appears on screen after 20 mins use.

Might be from overheating, monitors do overheat sometimes. I had the same issue happening to one of my old monitors and it wasn't fixable unfortunately. I had to replace it and get a new one.

My x box keeps on freezing

The freezing happens before the red lights.

It happens because the main chips inside the Xbox 360 are losing connection - you need to stop the heat build up between these and you will be able to fix it.

You can either send it in or use a good repair guide to fix it from home.

My picture keeps going dark. What can I do to fix

Just throwing some ideas in here:

Is the picture still visible, just much darker?

Are you using it as a TV or monitor? If it's a monitor try it on another PC.

Does the same thing happen no matter what input you're using?

Is it overheating somehow?

Maybe try changing the sleep setting to 30 or 60 mins and see if there's any difference, in case there's a problem with that section. (Not that you can fix it if there is.)

Worst case scenario, the TV is faulty - if the backlight is actually going off, the picture would still be there but barely visible. But if you've just bought it there should be no problem about getting a replacement.

Vertical black lines appear intermitently

Does the line appear on just one input(cable,hdmi,video1,video2,ect) or on all of them? The reason why I ask is it may be just an issue with one input setting on the television and you may be able to use a different input for a temporary fix of the problem. Plasma telivisions run very hot and it may be overheating. Try using a small mountable fan above the TV pointed into the back heat vents and see if keeping it cooler keeps the issue from happening. These TVs are repairable but usually cost more to repair than what it is worth due to plasma TVs are very in-expensive now.

Samsung tv is shutting off all the time.

Do you have enough air flow to cool it?
It may be overheating....add a fan blowing into it and see if that keeps it on.If it does put a strong small computer fan in somewhere to keep it cool.

Center channel goes muffled after a while of use.

It is likely that something overheating is causing the problem, but nothing should be overheating. Cleaning won't hurt and may help but it is likely to require repair of the faulty component, perhaps a failing capacitor or amplifier.

Keeps turing off

It's look like overheating. Try to clean the fan and thermal module.
For 5630, Open the thermal door on the back of your laptop and you can see the fan.
