This could be a little bit paper sticking in it somw where. This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.

And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Also clean The purge unit, called a spittoon assembly in an HP, Lexmark, Caonon and other inkjet printers, is where the print head assembly parks when not in use, also its other job is to clean and make sure the print head is clean and open for printing.

That is where you'll find the print head assembly parked on top of it.
It also has an electrical pump to milk the print heads and test for ink flow.

So clean all under where the heads are parked and on IP6600D models you can take out the heads just by clipping them out, and then clean well.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

My husband and I looked and looked and tried cleaning the rollers over and over and the paper would still feed on an angle and get stuck. I had a hunch maybe my 3yp did something since my paper kept disappearing. Anyway, right when my husband followed these instructions lo and behold a lil mini alien came out. Geez...where the heck was that lil ****** hiding!?

How do I load paper?

I have a casion hr-100tm calculator and found the easy way to load a new roll of paper. Take a 3x5 index card and cut it on 45 degree angle, then with angle on the right of the machine feet it into the machine pushing it as you go. Once it begins to feed so you can pull on it, then take other end of card, scotch tape to new roll of adding machine tape. As you feed the card through the roll of paper foillows. Once it has fed into machine cut off 3 x5 card. Easy.
The problem is that all rolls of machine paper are not equal and the thinner paper doesn't want to feed. This way it works for any type. Hope it hellps.

Roll feed Paper will not load

You need to make sure that the leading edge of the paper is straight. If the leading edge is crooked or angled it will often cause a load issue. Also make sure that the roll is mounted properly on the spindle.h

How do I load the paper in my SPL-P500 calculator?

Try making a point and feed it in the right place, the feed roller which is only about 1/2 inch wide should pick up the paper.

Printer using to many pages at once

When printing in moist climate or conditions, be sure to fan your paper before loading printer. Also set your paper guide so that the paper does not pull in on an angle.

Printer is loading paper at an angle, so everything prints at aangle to the right.

The paper holder is adjustable, so make sure you have it snug up against the edges of the paper.

Older paper is dryer (yes, less moisture content) and doesn't pick up as easily--try new paper.

Also, check the paper bin for dust or other obstructions...

How do you load paper into the printing calculator?

Cut paper at a 45 degree angle and load into back slot with angle (apex) of paper to the right of machine when facing it. Be sure to push it thru when loading. You should see tip next to calculator number wheel. Hit the additon sign several times to advance. You may need tweezers to pull paper thru if it doesn't advance by itself.
