Hi Ginger.............
Based on the information you shared, I would first start with the metering device.......It doesn't sound like it is metering the refrigerant properly. If your system is using a TXV indoors, check the sensing bulb....make sure the contact between the bulb and the suction line are clean and tight. Make sure the suction line and bulb are well insulated.

Can I replace the tank drain on my Porter Cable 150PSI 6Gal pancake compressor with a ball valve?

As long as it will physically fit and the rating is above 150psi -Yes.
I say above 150psi because if the compressor pumps to 150psi, a 150psi valve is on the hairy edge of it's max limit.

2006 Ford Fusion Air Conditioning compressure not turning on.

Thats pretty high if the system is not running. Average pressure on the low and high side should be near outside air temp.
Normal low side is 30-40 psi and high side is 200-250 psi when the system is running and the freon charge is full.

Can the a/c on 2002 Ford Explorer be re-charged with Freon or is it actually a sealed system?

All systems can be charged, there are valves to charge the system up, theres a highside and a lowside valve, the highside is the larger valve and the lowside is the small valve. the system is charged through the low side valve. good day.

2008 honda pilot a/c is not blowing cold air, blows hot air. bought truck in 2007.

the most common problem with honda and acura is the magnetic clutch failure on the compressor , test to see if you are getting power to the clutch assembly with the car runningand the A/C on max if you have power the compressure clutch is bad if you don't ck the compressure fuse and or the clutch relay.

Too hot little cold

Very possible your condenser is extreemly dirty and is turning off on a high pressure cutout. suggest you clean out condenser with compressed air. Brushing is not enough. also, check if condenser fan(at the compressor) is working.

My 02 sonata a/c system doesnt blow cold?

Ok... you wrote "lock was all dry but after i charge the system it start leaking from the same place that the original was leaking,(center of ac compressure.)" Sounds like you should have 'OVER HAULED' the existing/used compressor before installing it... OR bought a recondition/new compressor (ya think?). It appears both the original and used compressors have the same defect.

Ac highside charge line location

the high side should have a black cap with a letter H on it.... if you dont see it then look for 2 valves that have caps on them, the larger of the valve is the high side, the smaller is the low side, the low side is the only one you want to use if you are refilling the system you do not want to mess with the highside... the low side pressure makes it so you can recharge the system, the highside will not work to refill a system if you are using the store bought recharging systems... and the valve on the recharger will only fit low side... hope this helps you... the highside should be on the pass. side towards the rear o the engine...
