Question about RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8100
Hello. I have an HTC Touch Dual with full qwerty keyboard slide out.
I have two questions.
1. I cannot find what is Button two in descriotion. I want to assign that button to voice tagged calls so I can press button two and make call by speaking the voice tag.
2.Secondly I have an icon that reads 12# and manifests tow ways. First it is there when I open it and it disaapears when I key the numbers to unlock. I cannot find the icon anywhere. Secondly sometimes and it seems to be after I have fully turned off the phone charged it up and then switched it on. There is a message on the bottom left which says notification but when I press that, all that comes up is a little blank screen and the only option is to hide it. If I leave the phone onit eventualy goes away and the word calendar appears which is the normal instruction in that bottom left of the phone. Can you assist as to how to avoid that and what is the icon and how does one set it up for whatever purpose it serves.
Hello, In response to your email I did accept the advice which actually came though as the same message 4 times.
I already had the manual that the expert was referring to but again on re-reading it there was no solution. Ieventually I rang the helpdesk for HTC which for me was an Australian number. They knew the problems that I referred to. hey could not help on the icon 12# save to say that I should simply leave the phone on al the time. If I travel on the plane I suspect I woud have to set it to Aeoplane mode as I board.
The icon then appears when you take it out of sleep mode and unlock it.
As to the Notification and the white screen, that is apparently a problm that reates to the fact that HTC does not operate in NZ with auto connection to vodafone. It seems to indicate that the phone is automatically trying to reconnect to a network that the bios setup does not recognise. It seems to time out and then the notification disappears and the calndar word appears which is normal.
So I think I have to wait until HTC extends to NZ. Apparently there have been talks with Telecom but as I am vodafone that will not help. However with the closure of CDMA of Telecom HTC will apparently be looking at the GPRS system so I may be OK.
I appreciate your help. If there is anyone out there who can add more or knows of a solution setting I would be pleased to hear from them.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
