I too had a computer crash and when I installed DVD X Copy Gold on the new computer I can not activate it. You replied to this situation by recommending "looking for a crack" in the internet...what is that & how do I find it? I have the original disk, license ID and password. Thanks, in advance for your help.

- My old computer crashed and I had to buy a new one. The new one runs Windows Vista. I installed the x copy gold and recieved an error. Tried to register and recieved error message from server. What do I do.- jdanh

Upon installation, you should be able to use your original License ID and password. If you cannot, you should be able to call the company and give them some information proving you bought the program. They will probably understand and give you a new license.
