Question about Audio Players & Recorders
Since you have changed the optical unit and the assembIy then we must come to the conclusion that the mother board is not processing the RF signals fromt the laer. One important thing if you had overlooked is to confirm if you have removed the short off the new laser head before you installed. If not do so as this short is a brdge of solder that has to be taken off using a static free soldering iron. If you had already done this then I am afraid that you mother board iss faulty and may end up with an expensive repair. Evaluate the cost before you want to go forward. hope to be helpful. Good day.
