Two things usually cause overfill/overflow: water inlet valve stuck in the open position or a malfunctioning water level pressure switch. In rare cases the timer can also cause the same problem.

Turn off or unplug the washer; the water inlet valve is indeed stuck in the open position should the water continue fill and overflow. Otherwise, the water level pressure switch fails to switch from the empty position to the full position allowing the continuous opening of the water inlet valve.

Please specify the exact model number of the washer for specific and more accurate troubleshooting and repair advice.

My apologies for the delayed response. The water level pressure switch is usually located under the console. The console must be removed first to access the water level pressure. Please indicate the exact model number of the washer for specific and accurate advice.

Hy, I have a washmasine bosch WAE28267SN that sow me an error E02 that's the error. Somebody can help me with some tips Thanks

The E02 error means that the washer is slow to fill. This can be caused by a problem with the incoming water hoses, the water valves or the washer draining as it fills.

The first thing to check is the incoming water if you have very little water in the washer. Make sure that the shut-off valves have been opened fully. If they were fully open, close them. If they were closed, check if that solves your E02 problem. Next remove the water hoses. A damaged anti-flood hose can reduce the water flow to a trickle. Clean the filters at both the shut-off valves and the intake valve on the washer. Replace the hoses at the shut-off valves. With a bucket below the hoses, turn on the shut-off valves and check that you are getting good flow. Now, attach the hoses to the washer. Check if the washer fills properly.

Check that the drain hose is positioned so that the outlet is above the water line of the washer. If your E02 issue continues and no water gets into the machine, then the inlet valve could be stuck in the closed position. If the washer is filling and the E02 error persists, then the water flow sensor may be a problem. This sensor has air tubes that can become clogged. Make sure that they have no dirt. There are other parts in this sensor that could be damaged.

Unfortunately, I don't have a source for parts for this washer. Some Bosch water inlet valves are available here: http://www.appliancepartspros.com/bosch-washer-valve.html . If your washer is under warranty, contact Bosch.

I hope this helps.

GE Super Capacity Plus won't stop filling

Does it stop if you stop the cycle or do you need to turn the valve off?

What is the complete model number of your unit?

Bosch washer over fills with water

If the water flows though the inlet then the flow pressure should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. Once the water comes into the system the WATER LEVEL SENSOR - normally a pressure switch- must activate at the preset/chosen level to give the signal to the program controller to switch on the motor. What is most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switch must be ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting the motor for rinse and wash.

Check this link to replace the inlet valve:

Not enough water is dispensed during fill cycle. This causes top washer not to have enough water volume to move top washer wand.

First check that the fill float switch is working.

Next that the fill valve doesn't have crud that limits water flow. They MAY have a timeout to prevent overfilling if fill is too slow and that could cause the priblem if fill valve is partially blocked.

Water does not stop and will overflow

Hi, Can you get the water to stop by turning the washer off? If the water continues to fill when the power is off, you eill need to checnge the inlet valve. If the water does stop filling when the power is off to the waser, the water level switch needs to be tested.
I hope this helps you. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Won't stop filling with water

Does the water continue to run when the washer is unplugged from power?  If it does, then there is something stuck in the inlet valve that is keeping it open.  Could be the result of mineral deposits.  If the water stops when unplugged then the water limit switch is defective.  Unlikely since the water still flows when control knob is in off position.

Maytag washer PAV2300 water over flow

from what I am reading on-line, it is the mix valve, aka water valve. Unplug the washer, then see if it still fills. If so, it's most likely stuck open, and needs to be replaced. about $22.00

FE code water overfills due to faulty water valve

Water valve is stuck open and needs to be replaced.  The best way to check if the water valve is the problem is to remove the top cover, run the machine to get the water running.  While the water is filling, remove the connector to the water valve that is filling.  If the water continues to run without the connector, the valve needs to be replaced.  If the water stops flowing when disconnected, you may have a control board problem and will need it to be replaced.
