Question about Logitech Bluetooth Wireless Headphones

Open Question

Logitech wireless headphones won't stay on

Yes, the headphones and the adaptor are both fully charged. The headphones will turn on, I have no problem getting them paired. After they are paired, I plug the adaptor into my computer's headphone jack and they work for about 10 seconds. Then the headphones went dead (no response at all) and the adaptor's light turned red. This happened 4 times with 2 different headphone jacks. Each times I couldn't get a response from the headphones until I plugged them into the charger and then unplugged them after 5 seconds. That is the factory reset for my phone bluetooth headset. Since I didn't know how to reset these, I tried it and it seemed to have worked. But now I can't get them to respond at all - not even to turn on! I've tried re-charging them overnight, in case they got run-down from me trying so much, but nothing. HELP!! Why won't they stay connected? Why are my headphones going dead and won't even turn on now?

SOURCE: when i turn on the peice that is ment go into the headphone jack it turns blue for a second and then red and stays red

i researched the logitech website and found the solution.
you must turn both parts on, but instead of letting go after 3 seconds, you keep holding until the lights start flashing red and blue on both pieces. Once BOTH pieces flash ONLY BLUE they have re-paired themselves, and they should work fine now.

SOURCE: Setup Bluetooth Wireless headphones

Each brand has it's own peculiarities and you did not specify the brand. I would suggest turning off the headphones, resetting the transmitter (turn off and on again for separate devices) and then pressing and holding the 'on' switch for 15 seconds or so. You may see (in some models) a light start to blink blue then red and back. This should indicate that the receiver (headphone) is trying to find a transmitter to pair with. Hope this helps.

Trying re-syncing the transmitter and the headphones. Hold down the power buttons on both until they alternate red and blue blinking, worked for me and now they work just fine. Got that from the Logitech FAQ website.

Make sure the headphones are in the searchable mode or try searching from the headphones instead of the PC.

My WP-350 is stuck and wont turn on/off

I'm having the same problem with my Creative WP-350 Wireless headphone; the blue light stays lit. I've tried charging the device fully and pressing the + (volume increase) and the multi function buttons with no success. There has to be someone out here that can provide the solution. I wrote to the Creative tech folks too, awaiting for a reply

My touch ipod touch is fully charged, worked yesterday fine. Today the sound won't come thru my ear phones, can you help?

it seems like the headphones do not work anymore. Do you have any other headphones that you can use. You could also call the company that you got the headphones from and see if they can repair them or replace them for you. If you bought it from ebay or amazon just find the person you bought it from and ask them if you can send it back for a new pair.

Logitech Freepulse headphones won't turn on

There is a reset button on both the headphone and the transmitter. Try to reset them both before attempting to pair them again. Since the led won't turn on there is a possibility that the battery is not charging. Is the orange light working when the headphones are charging? It should be and then it should turn off when the battery is full.

The following procedure will re-establish the communication link between the Headphones and the Wireless adapter, this is called "pairing". Before you start please make sure both the headphones and the wireless adapter are fully charged and turned off.
Note: The headphones and the wireless adapter come pre-paired from the factory.
1. Press and hold the power button on the headphones. See Figure 1.

2. Continue to hold the button down until the LED starts flashing red/blue in an alternating pattern. Release the button when the LED starts flashing red/blue. See Figure 2.

3. Once the headphones LED is flashing red/blue, press and hold the power button on the wireless adapter. See Figure 3.

4. Hold down the button until the LED starts flashing red/blue in an alternating patter. The LED will blink blue, then turn off for a few seconds then blink red/blue. Release the button when the LED starts flashing red/blue. See Figure 4.

5. Once both the headphones LED and the adapter LED is blinking red/blue, press the volume up button once on the headphones. See Figure 5.

Once the headphones is paired with the adapter, the LED on the headphones will blink blue once every two seconds. See Figure 6.

When the adapter is paired the LED will be solid blue. See Figure 7.

The adapter may continue to blink red/blue for a few seconds even after the headphones LED starting blinking blue. This is normal; the adapter may take a few additional seconds before the LED turn solid blue.
Once the headphones and the adapter are paired, it is not necessary to pair them again even if the batteries on both units are completely drained.
Additional Note: Repeated pairing will not improve the sound quality or give the headphones and the adapter a cleaner connection.
