Make sure that water is present in the household water line leading to the refrigerator. Check the condition of the water inlet valve using a cheater cord. Disconnect the wires from the valve terminals then connect the cheater cord instead. Plug the cheater cord to a 120 VAC outlet and check the operation of the valve. You will hear it click and water is delivered to the refrigerator if the water valve is good. The issue lies within the control board if that is case; otherwise, the water valve is not working and not delivering water to the refrigerator, replace it. Indicate the exact model number of the refrigerator for the replacement part number.
