Question about Roomba Robotic Floor Bagless Vacuum
On initial start the roomba 540 works OK, then when it hits an obstacle it circles only, then stops with error code 9 beeps. Phoned service they advised to blow air, done that, no change. So I assume the bumper switches are on continuously. What is the next step? How do I take the 540 apart to repair the switches?
Hi. An IR LED is damaged. You can replace the sensor or purchase a complete cliff sensor bumper.
