Check your muffler's spark arrestor screen for clogging. Also test your compression. It needs to be be at least 100 psi for the engine to start.

If by "brand new, just out of the box" you mean you just bought it, bring it back to where you got it and exchange it or get your money back.
If by "brand new, just out of the box" you mean you bought it, it sat somewhere for some time and you're just now using it, check to see if it's still under warranty so you can get it fixed through that.
If it's out of warranty, you'll have to buy a switch to fix it. They're available on sites like www.ereplacementparts.com.

It's brand new. It's faulty straight out of the box.

Just return it for a refund or exchange.

CRUM chip communication trouble = the chip on the toner cartridge is faulty.

1, Try to clear the code press P, *, C, *, to enter the service simulation, on the key pad press 1,6, then the copy start, press execute on the screen.

2, Change the toner cartridge.
If it is a brand new one return to supplier as fault, if it is a refilled new one take back to supplier (the CRUM chip serves as a genuine supplies protection for sharp and 'blows' when the toner is empty the re-filler will have to put a new chip on it)

remove the carb and disassemble---clean parts in solvent--make sure the float valve moves freely in the bowl

sounds like either a rod bearing or a wrist pin loose on the crankshaft or on the connecting rod

You need to return this saw to the dealer if you have followed all starting instructions.
