Question about Shakespeare Ugly Stik Freshwater Fishing Rod
Most fishing rods are made of graphite, and are very easily breakable. i suggest that you find a way to CAREFULLY saw or file off the tip as close to the glue as you can, preserving as much of the rod as you can. maybe a knife or serrated blade of some sort could get through the tip. i have lost ALOT of fights with BIG fish and i usually end up replacing tips... NOTE that using a new tip will reduce sensitivity in your rod but not too much
