Question about Car Audio & Video
Hi I have just bought a 2nd hand Rover 214 with a stereo only it's asking for a code and I dont have a clue what it is !!!!! Can any one help please , thanks Mary
bought the same car a few weeks ago and had the same problem.
Take it to a good garage and they can change the radio for a diferent radio or sound system. you can't use the steering wheel tabs to change the volume etc but you'll be able to listen to the radio though!
the garage i went to put in a new cd/radio player in about an hour and i have music now! i can play cd's and listen to the radio.
basically the Rover cars have a pin code that not only controls the radio but also the engine and immobiliser. I still have problems with the immobiliser light flashing and the car wont start until i lock it up again and then unlock and restart the engine but overall it's a pretty decent car to drive. I've had worse cars!
hope that helps

It means that your cars radio isnt holding power, Hence it resets itself. Maybe a lose wire on the back or you could try having a wire from the battery connected to give it a content feed
