Question about Nintendo Wii Console
I had the same issue, it may be the power cable since the power cable is the power supply also. Try a friends and if it works just buy another from www.nintendo.com If it is not the power cable then you have a board issue and you will need to send it to nintendo to have it serviced. Be sure to check the power outlet with a lamp or radio to ensure the outlet has power.

Tips for a great answer:
Locate the "reset" button on the front of the Wii console. Hold it down for a few seconds to reset the device.
Wait for the home screen to appear, then hold down the "power" button on the front of the Wii until the power light turns red and the Wii shuts down.
Unplug the Wii's power supply from the wall outlet or power strip.
Leave the Wii console unplugged for at least five minutes. Reconnect the power supply and press the power button to turn the Wii back on and complete the hard reset.
