The power supply is the vehicle 12V electrical system.

An amp wiring kit like this one should work OK.

Screws are any generic screws of the proper size, depending on what type of material you are mounting the amp to.

Unplug the monitor power cable. You should never attempt to disassemble an electronic component without first detaching it from its direct power source.

    • 2
Remove the screws from the back of the monitor and along the edge of the screen. Depending on manufacturer and model, LCD monitors will have screws located on different parts of the monitor's body. Once the screws are off, use a flat-tipped tool, such as a knife or a screwdriver, to pry the monitor open by dislodging the two halves; be careful not to tear wires connecting the two halves.

    • Sponsored Links

    • 3
Locate the power supply unit and take its metal casing off. Once again, different models of LCD monitors will have the unit placed in different locations. With the casing undone, unplug cables running from the power supply to other internal components. Mark the cables that you unplug from the power supply--you will have to plug them back in to the new unit.

    • 4
Dislodge the power supply from its dock. In some monitors you might have to undo screws that hold the power supply unit in place. Remember the orientation of the unit as it was placed, because you will have to insert the new unit in exactly the same way.

    • 5
Insert the new power supply into the dock and screw it in place. If you do not have a new power supply, read the label on the existing one to order a new one from the manufacturer or from a third-party supplier. Obtain a power supply unit that is compatible with your LCD monitor; never try to use a generic spare. After installing the new unit, plug in the cables exactly as they were in the old unit.

    • 6
Put the power supply casing back on and reassemble the LCD monitor frame. Gently clasp the two halves of the monitor shut, making sure you have reattached all cables that you unplugged to take the monitor apart. Close the casing, tucking away all cables neatly so they do not get in the way of the monitor casing.

    • 7
Put all the screws back on. Once done, you should have no leftover pieces (screws or cables).

Red light blinking and no response akai LCT2715

The led is blinking due to fault in power supply board.
On the power supply board there are some capacitors and ICs .if any of those gets short or faulty the power supply board will create problems and the red light will start blinking. The components on the board needs to be checked with the help of multimeter and continuity tester. And the faulty components needs to be replaced with the help of soldering iron. the procedure to check the power supply board is as follows:---- 1) You are going to need a Phillips ( X ) Screwdriver for this procedure. The first thing you will want to do is find a suitable location to disassemble the TV. Try to find somewhere with plenty of space to work and preferably somewhere you will not have any hazards such as static (like carpet)
Lay the TV Flat on its face (picture side down) and remove the 4 screws from the back of the TV holding the base on.
Next you will want to process to remove the screws around the back cover. There are 12 screws you will need to remove (refer to picture for locations).
Carefully remove the back panel of the TV. It may snag on the coaxial connector so be careful.

2) Once you have the back off of the TV you can see the Main board and power supply covers. You will now need to remove the left (right side from the back) speaker cover to allow access to two of the screws holding the Power Supply Cover in place. This is easy and pretty straight forward and has 8 screws around the perimeter.
Once you have the speaker cover off you should be able to access the screws on the side and you will also want to remove the other screws from around the sides of the cover. Some TV's I have worked on only had 6 where others had 7 or 8. Just make sure to remove all of the screws before trying to remove the cover.
Once you have the cover removed you will see the Power supply. Remove the wiring harnesses from the power supply board. You will have 4 cables at the top of the power supply and one main power input at the bottom. The main power input may have some glue securing it in place. Simply cut this with a knife or pull it loose.
Once you have the cables off of the power supply you can remove it from the TV via the screws on the 4 corners. Be careful not to damage anything as you remove these screws. You now have the Power Supply removed from the TV.
you can now get the power supply repaired from any local tv repair technician.or get new replacement power supply from the service center.or from online stores like : www.partstore.com or from www.shopjimmy.com
Thanks. you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

Changeing power supply

On some Compaq models there may be an additional screw into the underside of the power supply, holding it to the metal brace across the case. Look for any additional screws like that, and be sure you've got them all out. Then, if it's still tough to get loose, gently tap it with a small rubber mallet. I used to fix Compaqs for a major retailer, and sometimes the supplies are just tight in the case. The little tap usually frees it. If you still have trouble, please post the model number of your computer and I'll try to help further.

How is the power supply removeddell gx260

Unplug computer and then press power button for 5 seconds to drain capacitors. You'll need to remove the case screws and case to get to power supply. From the back, you'll see smaller screws near the fan output vent of the power supply. All screws are phillips #2. Dell sometimes uses special clips that you have to press or pull to release objects, but may not for power supply. You'll have to disconnect all power cables from all internal devices including hard drives, CD/DVD drives, floppy drives, motherboard and any power assisted graphics cards. There may be additional chassis screws holding power supply to chassis. If you are replacing power supply, be sure new one is of at least same wattage as the original. New supply should match the same configuration as the old one and have the same style motherboard connector. Name brands like Compaq and Dell have used supplys that are specific to their PC lines. But, you should still be able to find OEM replacements. Looking for a replacement, try www.pricewatch.com.

How can I change the power supply or fuse on projector?

remove the top, front and rear panels (4 copper screws and 4 silver screws on bottom, 2 silver on back). there are 2 fuses for the power supply. the left board (looking from the rear) is the ac filter board, and has a fuse near the plug. the right board is the power supply/ballast board, and has one fuse near the back center, but it is soldered in. if the fuses are bad, replace only with the same size fuse. to replace the power supply (either board), just remove the screws and plugs and replace with part numbers 510-1908-00 (ac filter) and 520-0143-00 (power supply).

I am looking for instructions on how to replace my e-machine atx-250-12e power supply connection.

they're pretty much all the same.

open the case. pull the 20/24 pin power plug and optional 4-pin power plug out of the botherboard. Remove power plugs from fans, hard drives, cd drives, etc.

unscrew the four screws anchoring the power supply to the case. Slide out the power supply. Put a new one in it's place, the screw holes will line up. Then reconnect the power cables just like they were when you removed the old one and boot 'er up.

All you have to do is make sure the wattage rating of the power supply is higher or equal to the old one. Your old one is only 250 watts. You will have to search VERY hard to find one that low, so don't worry.

E-machines doesn't make particularely powerful desktops so you won't have compatibility problems. Almost EVERY atx psu on the market will work.
