Question about Miele 24 in. G879 Built-in Dishwasher
This has happen in the past, and we went through a process of software code instructions via the top key panel:e.g., holding multiple buttons / keys as we turned the machine on
I found the solution by phoning Miele. You just have to reset as follows: switch on with program 2 and 3 pushed in. Then push top solo twice. Switch off and on again. The Miele is ready to go.

Thanks for using FixYa. If the cycle doesn't complete, then the first thing that should be checked is the Timer and then the heating element. Timers don't often fail. But if every other part of the dishwasher seems to be working properly and the timer knob seems to be stuck in one place--doing one function continuously--the timer may be at fault and needs to be replaced. Many dishwashers heat the wash and/or rinse water to a higher temperature, as the cycle calls for it. In these cycles, the dishwasher pauses after it has filled with water, waiting for the water to reach the pre-set temperature. What happens next depends – On some units, the pause is timed and the unit continues after the allotted time. On others, the cycle can't continue until the water reaches the higher temperature. If you have this type of dishwasher and the water isn't being heated (say, because of a problem with the heating element or thermostat), after the unit stops at the heating cycle, it never continues. When you repair the heating-system problem, the "cycle problem" is fixed too. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

The E27 error flashes on the washer LCD screen and stops the current load. Unplug your washer for 30 minutes and then plug it back in to reset the code.
Open and close the door two or three times to reset the sensor. Sometimes the door has been closed too hard and the sensor reading fails.
