Mitsubishi 65" WS-65869 Blinking Green Light 3-2 pattern,

two ideas:

Make sure you tested the pico fuses inside the unit with the caps==two or three of them.

Also from front of set behind speaker grill unplug both plugs that go up to front keyboard--set will still work with remote===if set functions now then the reset micro switch is bad/damaged.

Have the blinking light of death on my Mitsubishi WS 65869

i would try unplugging the front control panel, it can also lock up the dm board.. i have a bulletin on it.. open up the panel behind the speaker grille and unplug dz connector.. then unplug the tv for 2 minutes, plug it back in and wait 2 minutes, and then try it with the remote. if it works, you'lll just have to go without front buttons.. it could be a dm board but thats rare. maybe he put in the wrong capacitors, he should have used 680uf @ 16v to replace the 1000uf caps

Timer light keeps blinking tv wont turn on already pushed system reset

Capacitors inside of your TV are gone from bad to dead. TV is trying to reboot after power disconnection and can not complete sequence. Sometimes even other components may be affected. You have to take rear cover off and locate DMD module on the left hand side if you look from the back of TV. It's vertically mounted board with aluminum cover. It have to be taken out and all electrolytic capacitors that have bulged (instead of flat) top should be replaced. This repair requires soldering skills. And even after this procedure it's 50/50 chances that TV will be resurrected.
