Whirlpool Duet dryer won't start F30

Whirlpool duet dryer...I hit the power button and it lights up like it supposed to and then I hit start, the "Sensing" light comes on but nothing else...I went into service mode and it flashes a F30...there is no F30 in the owners manual. It only goes up to F29...The door switch is fine and my voltage is also correct...HELP

I Hit the power button then I hit the Start button for 3 seconds...When the start button for 3 seconds I hear something like a switch or solenoid engage and the sensing light comes on...that's it...it does nothing else but the timer counts down like it does when it is working correctly...When I go into Diagnostic mode it switches between code F30 and F25..

The tech log said F25 is an inlet thermistor so I either need the thermistor or the thermal switch. Thanks!!

My problem was the load was too light. The washer didn't think there was anything in it. Added a blanket and it worked perfectly.

Well the sensing light will stay on till it feels wet clothes against it if you in auto dry mode it says it wont start without feeling wet clothes against the silver bars in the vent housing it says it will run in manuel mode even if it doesn't feel them pull the top off the dryer and on the right hand side is a tech service sheet in a plastic bag see what it says

Dryer will not start when pushing start button it just clicks once

This sounds like a problem with the thermal fuse blown which is wired in series with the motor. Power to the motor is terminated when the thermal fuse blows and the motor cannot run. No dryer function works when the motor cannot run. Click on the link below for the detailed instructions in troubleshooting this kind of Whirlpool Duet or Kenmore Elite dryer problem.
