Question about HP G60-120US Laptop
Before sending the notebook to repair, I would suggest you to reinstall the wireless drivers on the notebook. Also update the BIOS and then check for the issue. You can download the wireless drivers from the HP Software and Drivers website for your notebook model. I am not sure of your exact notebook and hence I am unable to provide you the web links to download the drivers.
However, if the issue persists even after updating the drivers, then the issue is clearly due to wireless card and the notebook needs an onsite diagnosis by a service technician which is not feasible through online. If your notebook is under HP warranty, then I would suggest you to contact HP support and send the notebook to them to get it repaired under warranty for free of cost. Incase, if you wish to take the notebook to any authorized service center then they may charge you for the service as they do not honor the warranty provided by HP.
