ummm you have a dandy there. sounds to me like who ever installed it cut the wires to connect the remote unit. You will have to find all the wires and reconnect them.

Stops working, beeps and test button comes on

Have you tried pulling the batteries for a while? That alone may fix it. Sometimes, not many, there is a reset procedure for not only for the unit, but the remote also. If that doesn't work, you will have to replace it.
Next time you ask a question, please give us the type of unit, the make and model number. Without that, we would have to guess what type of product you have.

My LG mini home theater sound system is not

Why not retrieve the instructions for your remote so you can figure out which buttons to push and which ones to leave alone?

The voltage should be good. It is possible the Infra-red emitter tube might be at fault.

The night vision can work under a full moon, so test the vision part to make sure it is working correctly. If you have an infra red/IR remote control for your TB set, you can test the might vision using that remote to see if the night vision is working.

You can use a second working unit to see if the illuminator is actually working. The illumination is not visible light without assistance.

In my experience, the related remote is better than universal remote, as it's not designed for particular unit, but for multi.

Anyhow, take universal remote, power on your a/c.In front of your a/c, press setting and then < or > continuously. In your remote the number will go up or down as 999.........998.997......... or 1101...102........103...104. like that. Stop, when you get response by beep sounds. That is code for your a/c to operate. Helpful?

Hi,
Please reinstall batteries in remote and check.
If still does not work then remote circuit board could be damaged and new remote is an option.
Hope this info will help you.
Thanks.
